The extended group provides the services of nine coastal specialists with unparalleled experience through Western Australia and further abroad. The specialist capabilitiers of Eliot - Geomorphology include analyses of land forms and seascapes for coastal planning, management and engineering purposes. These support wider organisation capabilities in coastal and estuarine geomorphology, coastal engineering, construction management and maritime planning.
Our principal coastal geomorphologist, Dr Ian Eliot, has extensive experience in coastal investigations, ranging from regional sediment studies to detailed field programs assessing micro-scale processes. This involvement has included academic research, practical studies for foreshore management and development of high level planning. He is an advisor to government at Federal, State and local levels on a wide range of coastal issues.
